This FFXIV guide will tell you exactly how to do that so you can not only get closer to Level 80 but also help out the Bozjan Resistance. Here’s what you need to know about unlocking the Bozjan Southern Front.
Unlocking the Bozjan Southern Front in Final Fantasy XIV
To access Bozja, you’ll need to own a copy of Shadowbringers, and have completed the Main Scenario Quests up through “Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty.” You’ll also need one of your classes or characters to be Level 71 at least to participate in the instance.
Once you have all of that, head on over to Rhalgr’s Reach, where you can pick up a quest called “The Bozja Incident” from an Ironworks Engineer at (X:11.8, Y:11.8). This quest is followed by another called “Fire in the Forge,” which then unlocks a new area called Gangos.
You can get to Gangos by going to the Doman Enclave, heading to the docks, and talking to the Airship pilot.
Now that you’re in Gangos, you have one final step before you can head into the Bozja Southern Front. Find Marsak (X:6.4, Y:5.7) and complete the quest “Where Eagles Nest," which will finally give you access to the Bozjan Southern Front.
Talk to Sjeros, who’s standing right at the docks, and choose the Bozjan Southern Front option.
This will put you into a unique instance of a massive battlefield. There are tutorial missions to walk you through the basics of Bozja, but basically, you’ll be participating in FATEs and Critical Engagement across the field to raise a resource called Mettle, which will then unlock more content as you level up.
The Bozjan Southern Front is quite the time investment, but now that you’re there you can chip in a few hours whenever you have time. For even more tips on the main game, and Endwalker, make sure to check out our FFXIV guides hub.
